hocolat makes handmade artisan chocolates with a touch of local flavor. Our chocolates are always made in small batches to ensure the ultimate freshness. They start with a blend of the some of the world’s best couvertures. To that we add fresh cream and butter from New England dairies and end with wonderful flavor infusions of herbs, spices, liqueurs, fruits and more, all sourced from local New England farms and small local specialty food makers whenever possible. vianne chocolat is perfect for self-indulgence, gift giving, wedding favors and corporate gifts.

who, what, why, where, when of vianne chocolat
who:
vianne is my alter ego. Her persona is what inspires me to create the chocolates my clients, friends, family, neighbors and co-workers adore me for. And she’s the person, fictitious as she is, who has inspired me to create vianne chocolat. And who am I you ask? I’m Valerie Conyngham, a graduate of Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. I earned my chocolate making stripes in the kitchen of Chez Henri, where I was introduced to the wonderful world of chocolate making by a pastry chef named Allison. From there it was a long road of trial and error to get to the recipes I use today.
what:
vianne chocolat makes handmade artisan chocolates with a touch of local flavor. Made in Boston, we have a wealth of high quality, small food producers right outside our door. Here are just some of the examples of how we incorporate local flavor into our chocolates. Our cream and butter comes from family farms throughout New England, the jams we use in our chocolates are from small jam makers in New England, they’re pure and never use high fructose corn syrup, the spices come from small locally owned spice shops. And the drawing of vianne, pictured on our packaging, is the work of local artist Seth B. Minkin.
