Hands on Truffle Making Class

vianne chocolat will come to your home or other event space and teach you and your friends the art of making handmade chocolates. You’ll learn how to make ganache (the centerpiece of all chocolate making), how to roll your own truffles, mold your own chocolates and make fine European inspired dipped chocolates, all within an intimate, hands-on atmosphere. Better yet, you and your guests will take all of the chocolates that you make together and box them up with ribbons (or not), ready for gift giving, or to indulge upon later. Throughout our time together you’ll be able to pick the brain of a professional chocolatier and leave with enough knowledge and hands-on experience to start making your own delicious chocolates whenever the craving strikes.

Chocolate and Wine Tasting

Skip the mess and go straight to indulgence with a chocolate and wine pairing. vianne chocolat will come to your home or other event space and walk you through a delicious and thoughtful chocolate and wine tasting. Each guest will enjoy nine handmade artisan chocolates, expertly paired with four different wines. Together, we’ll talk about where chocolate comes from, how it’s made and the flavor attributes that comes together for the wonderful tastes you’ll embark on throughout the tasting.

Chocolate Demonstration

Our chocolate demonstrations are for those that want to learn how to make fine European inspired chocolates, but don’t want to deal with the mess or have a group too large to host a hands on class. We’ll come to your home or other event space and demonstrate the art of making chocolates. We’ll demonstrate how to temper chocolate, make ganache, form truffles, make dipped chocolates, use chocolate molds for molded chocolates and demonstrate a variety of decorating techniques. You’ll leave with enough knowledge to start making your own chocolates whenever the fancy strikes.

Don’t have space to host a party? Don’t worry, for an additional fee we can arrange a space in Boston’s Back Bay for small groups (ten people max).

Chocolate parties are great for girls night in, bridal showers, baby showers, bachelorette parties and more.
